Oakmans Charity Donations 2026: £13,000 for Local Causes
The Oakmans charity donations 2026 initiative is helping local causes throughout the year. We’re donating £250 every week to registered charities across Birmingham and the surrounding areas, with a commitment to give £13,000 by the end of 2026.

As a family-run estate agency, supporting the communities we work in has always been important to us. From local schools to charities providing essential services, we’ve seen just how much of a difference community support can make.
This year, we wanted to take that commitment even further.

How Oakmans Charity Donations 2026 Are Making a Difference
Throughout 2026, Oakmans is committing £250 every week to charities making a positive difference in their communities.
Over 52 weeks, that adds up to £13,000 dedicated to supporting local causes, helping organisations continue the work that matters to the people who rely on them.
Rather than focusing on one large donation, we’re spreading our support across the year, giving more organisations the opportunity to benefit.
Our weekly charity donations are also about raising awareness of smaller organisations that deserve greater recognition for the work they do.
Why Supporting Local Charities Matters to Oakmans
Oakmans Estate Agents has grown alongside the communities we serve. From our beginnings in Selly Oak to establishing branches across Birmingham and the surrounding areas, local relationships have played a huge part in our journey.
Over the years, we’ve been proud to support organisations including Birmingham Hospice and the British Heart Foundation, alongside other community initiatives.
Our 2026 donations build on that commitment, giving us another opportunity to support the people and organisations helping others every day.
For us, it’s about more than writing a cheque. It’s about recognising the work happening on our doorstep and encouraging others to get behind it.
Charity Donations in Birmingham and Surrounding Areas
Our charity donations in Birmingham focus on registered organisations working in and around the communities where our branches are based.
These include Selly Oak, Harborne, Northfield, Shirley, Bromsgrove and Redditch, along with the surrounding areas.
Whether it’s a charity supporting families, helping vulnerable people, improving wellbeing or providing opportunities for young people, we’re keen to hear about the organisations doing valuable work locally.
We particularly want to give smaller charities the opportunity to be recognised and supported.
How Can a £250 Charity Donation Make a Difference?
For smaller charities and community organisations, even a relatively modest donation can provide valuable support.
Depending on an organisation’s needs, £250 could contribute towards essential equipment, food and supplies, community activities or the running costs of important support services.
While every charity has different priorities, the aim remains the same: to help local organisations continue making a difference.
By making weekly contributions, we’re also able to shine a light on a wide range of causes throughout the year.
How to Nominate a Local Charity
We want local people to help shape our charity donations by telling us about organisations that deserve support.
If you know a registered charity doing brilliant work in your community, you can nominate them by:
- Commenting on our Instagram charity campaign post and tagging the organisation.
- Sending Oakmans a direct message on Instagram with the charity’s details.
It helps to include the charity’s name, where they’re based and a little about the work they do.
If you’re unsure whether an organisation is registered, you can check using the Charity Commission’s official charity register.
Nominations are considered as donation spaces become available.
Making 2026 a Year of Giving Back
Our £13,000 charity commitment is one way we’re continuing to support the places and people that have supported Oakmans over the years.
Every organisation has its own story, and behind every charity are people working hard to make life better for others.
Throughout 2026, we’re proud to play a small part in helping those stories continue.
