Proud To Be Part Of The Bournville Village Festival

The Bournville Village Festival has been bringing the local community together since 1902. It is one of Bournville’s most loved traditions, enjoyed by generations of residents and visitors over the years.

After being paused only during wartime and briefly in 2020 and 2021, the festival returned for its 123rd celebration in June 2025. Once again, it was a brilliant day filled with local pride, entertainment and plenty for families to enjoy.

Celebrating Bournville Village Festival 2025

On Saturday 28th June, the Oakmans team was delighted to be part of the Bournville Village Festival. With a little help from the local Scouts setting up our Oakmans flag, we were ready for a busy day meeting residents and joining in with the celebrations.

The festival had a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish. There was live music, performances and activities for all ages, with families, friends and neighbours coming together to enjoy the day.

Our colourful Oakmans balloons were a big hit too, especially with younger visitors. It was lovely to see so many smiling faces and to be part of an event that means so much to the local area.
