What is the Harborne Pumpkin Parade 2026?
Organised by Harborne Village, the Harborne Pumpkin Parade is a family-friendly Halloween trail taking place across Harborne High Street.
This year, 10 pumpkins will be hidden in participating local businesses, each helping visitors uncover a secret Halloween word.
The challenge is to find all 10 pumpkins, collect the clues and work out the hidden word. Once you’ve solved the mystery, you can enter a prize draw for the chance to win a prize!
It’s a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy some fresh air, explore the local area and discover the independent shops and businesses that make Harborne such a wonderful community. If you’re interested in finding out more about the area, take a look at our Harborne area guide.

Looking for family Halloween events in your area?
If you’re searching for ‘family Halloween events near me’ or wondering what to do in Birmingham this October, the Harborne Pumpkin Parade is a great option to add to your plans.
Taking place throughout the school holidays, the event offers families an opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy a Halloween adventure together.
Unlike some Halloween attractions, there’s no need to travel far into the countryside. The trail takes place around Harborne High Street, giving you the perfect excuse to explore local shops, stop for a coffee or enjoy something to eat while hunting for pumpkins.
Whether you’re visiting with younger children, meeting friends or spending time together as a family, there’s plenty to enjoy.
A fun alternative to a pumpkin patch in Birmingham
Visiting a pumpkin patch in Birmingham is a popular Halloween tradition, but it’s not the only way to get into the spooky spirit this October.
If you’ve already visited a pumpkin patch or you’re looking for a different Halloween activity, the Harborne Pumpkin Parade offers something a little different.
Instead of picking pumpkins in a field, families can follow a trail through the heart of Harborne, searching for hidden pumpkins and collecting clues along the way.
It’s a lovely way to enjoy the Halloween atmosphere while supporting local businesses and discovering more of what Harborne has to offer.
