Wingfest Birmingham 2025 Highlights

Wingfest Birmingham 2025 brought a brilliant weekend of food, music and friendly competition to The Hockey Social, and the Oakmans team was delighted to be part of it.

From 15th to 17th August, we set up at the festival with something a little different, a full Porsche GT3 racing simulator. It proved to be one of the busiest spots of the weekend, with a constant queue of people ready to take on Silverstone and chase the fastest lap.

Racing Around Silverstone

Festival-goers could jump into the driver’s seat and race around Silverstone for free, with the quickest lap winning £100.

From serious racing fans to total beginners, everyone gave it their best shot. The competition was fierce, and the winning lap time over the weekend was an impressive 1 minute and 4 seconds.

It was brilliant to see people cheering each other on, comparing lap times and coming back for another go. The simulator brought plenty of energy to the stand and gave us the chance to meet loads of people from across Birmingham.

A Weekend Of Food, Music And Festival Vibes

Known for bringing together some of the country’s best chicken wing vendors, Wingfest Birmingham 2025 was packed with great food, live music and a proper festival atmosphere.

The smell of incredible wings filled the air, music played throughout the day and the whole event had a brilliant buzz from start to finish. It was a fantastic way to spend the weekend, meet new people and get involved in one of Birmingham’s liveliest food events.
